Marco Carola - Confusion track from the Fragile EP (1999). One of my absolute favorites and probably one of the best IMHO of Carola’s. This is pure “chugging along” techno. Imagine how a train “chugs” along. Now you know why they called him the “Man Train”. Fucking bang it people, bang it.

There is techno and then there is THIS. Peak dance floor puliverization. It destroys. It annihilates. IT IS AWESOME. Amazing new work from Brian Black that has been taking one step beyond by Dave Clark and Mr. Jones. One of my faves of the year… Enjoy.

Pulled out my old DEQ Detroit Electronic Quarterly Vol 1 Sampler. 2005. It’s pretty interesting how my taste has evolved and that NOW I find this disc much more interesting than when I got it.
This track, Toronto V.I.P. by Soundmurderer & SK-1, is Drum and Bass at it’s best, for me. It’s a “holy fuck” kinda of track. Enjoy…muwhahahaha!
Andrei Morant Blank Code DJ Mix 2011
Houston Producer/Label Owner/DJ Andrei Morant shows us that he means business with techno. Bring back the pounding booming beats. Not too fast to wear you out, but relentless and with enough force to keep you on your toes. Yeah, we do things a bit hard and heavy down in the South. Fantastic tracklisting and excellent mix from Andrei.
I will also heartily recommend subscribing to the Blank Code podcast as well…all the DJ’s featured in there are beyond par. Tasty treats for sure!
